David Fleeton

Leadership Coach

Leadership isn’t forged in comfort- it’s forged in adversity.

My Story

My name is David Fleeton, and I am the founder of Resurgent Leadership Coaching. I’m a leadership coach, motivational speaker, and operations manager with years of experience leading teams in fire protection, life safety, and electronic security industries.

However, my greatest qualifications weren’t earned through job titles, certifications, or promotions.

I’ve experienced financial hardships, homelessness, career setbacks, divorce, health related issues with my children, and one of the greatest challenges of my life: a diagnosis of aggressive prostate cancer at just 41 years old.

In every season I found myself faced with the same question: Will I allow this adversity to define me, or will I allow God to transform me through it for his purpose?

Time and time again, God proved faithful! He took the moments that felt like defeat and used them to build resilience, deepen my character, and strengthen my faith. Those experiences didn’t just change my life, they changed the way I lead.

My life is living proof that resiliance isn’t about being the strongest person in the room. It’s about trusting the One who gives you strength when you have none left.

If my journey has taught me one thing, it’s that God doesn’t waste pain. He uses it to prepare us for purpose.

Welcome to Resurgent Leadership Coaching.

Let’s rise together!

The Resurgent Principles

Faith First. Lead Courageously. Impact Eternally.

Faith First

Great leadership begins with God. Our decisions, relationships, and purpose are rooted in biblical principles of integrity, humility, servant leadership, and unwavering faith.

Resilient Leadership

Pressure reveals leadership, but resilience builds leaders. We embrace adversity as an opportunity for growth, knowing that trials often become the foundation for our greatest breakthroughs. We choose perseverance over giving up and courage over fear.

Purposeful Impact

Leadership is measured by the lives we influence. It isn’t simply titles or analytics. It about serving others, developing leaders, and leaving every organization, team, and individual stronger we found them.

” Rise. Lead. Impact.”

The Resurgent Framework

Pillar 1: Character Before Leadership

Who you are will always determine how you lead.

Every lasting influence begins with character. Titles may grant authority, but integrity earns trust. Whether leading a family, a ministry, a classroom, or an organization, leadership starts with becoming the right person before trying to lead others.

Pillar 2: Serve to Multiply

The greatest leaders exist to elevate others.

True leadership isn’t measured by how many people follow you—it’s measured by how many people become stronger because of you. Servant leadership creates environments where people are seen, valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their potential.

Pillar 3: Build Strong Communities

Great people thrive in healthy cultures.

Whether it’s a workplace team, a church, a family, or a community organization, lasting success depends on relationships. Strong cultures are intentionally built through trust, communication, accountability, and shared purpose.

Pillar 4: Grow with Purpose

Leadership is a lifelong journey of learning and multiplying influence.

Every season presents an opportunity to grow. Great leaders remain teachable, develop others intentionally, and prepare people to lead beyond them. Growth isn’t simply about advancing a career, it’s about expanding your capacity to make a meaningful difference.

Pillar 5: Rise Through Adversity

Your greatest setbacks can become your greatest platform for impact.

Every person faces challenges, disappointment, and uncertainty. Resilient leaders learn to persevere, adapt, and move forward with hope. Adversity doesn’t have to define your future, it can become the foundation of your purpose and influence.
